Brampton, April 18, 2007 - ICICI Bank Canada's Brampton branch is celebrating its third anniversary with its customers and VIPs today.

The Brampton branch, which services more than 11,000 local customers, was the first suburban branch that opened in April 2004, just months after ICICI Bank made its debut in Canada. The Branch offers full service banking and houses a Commercial Banking Team, which provides business lending services. It also offers Safety Deposit Boxes.
For the local South Asian community, which represents a large proportion of the Branch's customer base, the Brampton branch offers the confidence of dealing with a familiar brand. It also offers support for non-English speaking customers, including members of the local Punjabi community. The Branch staff can serve customers in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil and Urdu. And the ABM machines located in the Branches provide services in six languages, including French and Chinese.
ICICI Bank Canada's Money Transfers to India product is rapidly becoming the preferred option for sending money transfers, particularly for customers who hold a chequing account and enjoy free money transfers as one of the benefits for account holders. A majority of these money transfers are handled through the Brampton location.
Since inception in 2003, ICICI Bank Canada has consistently led the full-service direct banks in Canada by offering attractive high interest rates and unique banking options through its multi-channel strategy. The Branch network provides personalized services. Direct Banking offers the option of online banking for those who are not in close proximity to the branch network. ICICI Bank Canada also offers Assisted Banking to customers who bank under guidance from their Financial Advisors and Planners.
