MR. LAWRIE C. SAVAGE

Mr. Lawrence Savage is a member of ICICI Bank Canada's Board of Directors, and is Chair of the Board Governance & Remuneration Committee as well as a member of the Audit and Risk Committees.

Mr. Lawrie Savage is a former Superintendent of Insurance for the Government of Ontario and is currently President of Lawrie Savage & Associates Inc (LS&A), a firm specializing in financial sector supervisory modernization and training. He was also with the Canadian federal financial regulatory authority (now OSFI) for 19 years, the last 8 years in charge of Property/Casualty Insurance regulation for Canada. He has also held senior positions in both the general and life insurance industries. Mr. Savage also spent time as Director, Insurance Consulting Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Toronto. Through this role and through LS&A, Mr. Savage has worked directly or has overseen supervisory projects in more than 40 countries. He is a Program Leader with the Toronto International Leadership Centre for Financial Sector Supervision and for a number of years was a director and chair of the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation.

Mr. Savage is also an Executive Fellow at the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Western University’s Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Science (Math) degree from University of Calgary.
