Mr. Rajiv Mathur
Mr. Rajiv Mathur is a member of ICICI Bank Canada’s Board of Directors, and is Chair of the Bank’s Audit Committee as well as a member of the Conduct Review Committee.
Mr. Mathur is a partner and counsel with a firm of chartered professional accountants and advisors that serves entrepreneurial clients. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 29-year career at Deloitte LLP, retiring as a Senior Assurance and Advisory Partner in 2016. His experience ranges from public and private company reporting to regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and enterprise risk management. During that period, Mr. Mathur also taught part-time at York University, building on his previous experience as an Assistant Professor at the University of New Brunswick and Acadia University.
Mr. Mathur currently serves on the Governing Council, Business Board, and Audit Committee of the University of Toronto. He is also currently the Chief Mentor and Senior Advisor at the Toronto Business Development Centre, a start-up incubator which nurtures the growth and development of new and emerging businesses in the Greater Toronto Area. Mr. Mathur has been a director of the Canadian Franchise Association, the North York Seniors Centre, and the President and Board member of TiE Toronto.
Mr. Mathur holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi), a Masters of Business Administration from Queens University, and completed the Wharton University CFO Executive Leadership Program. He is a CPA, CA, and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
